Jane Njagua is a DSW student at Spalding University. She has a passion for helping people struggling with substance use disorder, mental health, and those experiencing homelessness. She developed an interest in helping the less fortunate at a tender age, having grown up in a harsh environment in Kenya. Njagua believes that through her social work practice, she can impact the people in her society. As the founder of the Global Voice of the Voiceless, Njagua encourages society to show compassion to the less fortunate by feeding them. NJagua holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Coppin State University and a master's in social work
from the Catholic University of America. While at Coppin State University, she was the president of Phi Alpha Theta Rho in fall 2022. Njagua has practiced as an Addiction Counselor at the Global Healthcare Systems in Baltimore, Maryland.
