Global Voice of the Voiceless was founded by Dr. Jane Njagua Kahumu, a licensed addiction and mental health clinician with a Doctor of Social Work degree, who has spent her career working directly with individuals navigating substance use, trauma, and homelessness. That clinical foundation shapes everything GlobaVoice does: from how we show up at outreach to how we design our programs

Our organization is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those who are most vulnerable in our society. We believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, and we strive to create a world where everyone has access to the support and resources they need to thrive.

Homelessness rarely stands alone : it’s often tangled with untreated addiction and unmet mental health needs. Global Voice addresses all three together, guided by clinical expertise, not just goodwill.

Impact

Over 10,000 People Impacted

Since our launch, we have provided food, clothing, and psychosocial support to more than 10,000 individuals across Baltimore.

This including our bi-weekly outreach events reaching an average of 100 people per visit.

Presence in multiple Countries

Other than our Main Operations in Baltimore, and the US, we from time to time extend our help to other countries such as Kenya
